what a difference 12 days makes

yes, we will be cloth diapering. i am very excited about making baby diapers. just what i need a new crafting hobby that allows me to buy more supplies. this fabulous little comet tails pattern can be found at amazon.com.

from yarn to baby

baby olivia is due may 7, 2009. now we've told all of our friends i am official in research and decoration mode. i found this online and am in LOVE with it. what i find even more magical is that 2 of the birds actually are made of material that i have used for curtains at home. magic!

yarn update

last december i admitted i had a yarn problem. as of today i have purchased:
1 red ball of jitterbug sock yarn
a lot of stupid sock needles
a pattern for a dolly bag that came with two balls of rowan cotton

i would say that this isn't bad considering i had a major yarn problem.

so what have i been up to?

holy cow, have i got yarn, and a lot of it! i'm setting a goal for myself for 2008--no new yarn. i don't know if it's possible, but i'm going to try it, we'll see. it's good to have goals.
